Summary:

Provide daily administrative support to the Operations department. Responsible for production reports, cycle counts, inventory control, editing work instructions, creating product labels, maintaining production records and declaration of finished goods within ERP system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all Liphatech safety policies and procedures.
  • Prepares production reports for different shifts and products. Inputs miscellaneous production data to ERP system.
  • Perform daily declaration of finished goods within ERP system and labeling finished goods. Including application of SU labels on finished goods. Update status and notify
  • Planning/Purchasing Manager of any variances.
  • Assists quality control and manufacturing with managing production scrap and vendor non-conformances.
  • Conducts cycle counts and inventory control on a regular basis. Reports any significant shortages or discrepancies to Planning/Purchasing Manager.
  • Provides information to QC regarding needed updates to work instructions and PowerPoints.
  • Assist with production related improvements such as editing work instructions and training documents.
  • Organizes and maintains daily production records both in hard copy and electronic format.
  • Serves as backup for ordering supplies for warehouse and manufacturing as needed.

Marginal Duties:

  • Serves as backup to Planning/Purchasing Manager.
  • Provides administrative support by performing various computer related tasks such as development of documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate degree in Inventory Management or related field. or two (2) years of related manufacturing experience required in lieu of degree.
  • At least one (1) year of previous experience with inventory control preferred.

Other Skills and Ability:

  • Requires the ability to operate a variety of standard business machines, such as a computer, calculator, fax, photocopier, etc.
  • Proficient in the following software: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience using an ERP System preferred.

Schedule:

  • 8- hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Milwaukee, WI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
