Summary:
Under the direction of the PMD Business Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to generating awareness, interest and understanding IGI CO2 as a fumigant for stored commodities. The position is responsible for generating sales of IGI CO2 gas and Eliminator applicator equipment within the sales territory.
Target audiences include pest control operators, fumigation companies, applicators, growers, farmers, trade associations, and municipalities.
Grow district sales by developing close customer relationships based on trust and commitment, providing a high level of customer service, developing and follow annual business plan, and communicating important information regarding the marketplace, customers, and competition to management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with all Liphatech safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with our distributor partner(s) to generate sales directly to our distributor partner(s), and/or assist our distributor partner(s) to generate sales of CO2 gas to the end users.
- Work directly with end users to generate IGI CO2 sales for fumigation.
- Demonstrate the appropriate use of the C02 and the Eliminator products within assigned territory and assists Pest Management Division District Sales and Technical Managers as needed with demonstrations and troubleshooting.
- Establish and maintain professional customer relationships with appropriate customer personnel.
- Submit written weekly report concerning customer-related activities, sales information and problems concerning customer relationships.
- Maintain a rolling two (2) month electronic calendar with key events identified. Maintain two (2) to three (3) weeks of activities that include: people, topics, meeting times and locations.
- Create and maintain a territory database in CRM (Customer Relations Management) software. The database should include all accounts within the territory, key contacts within those accounts and other key information related to that account. The CRM database should be maintained on a regular basis.
- Record all activities that have taken place within an account in CRM. This activity will be compiled weekly to generate the weekly report for the Sales Managers.
- Inform customers of supply and pricing information.
- Keep customers informed on new products/services and other general information of interest to customers.
- Manage customer complaints by notifying proper department within the organization and following up to ensure complaint is resolved.
- Provide feedback to the IGI CO2 Manager and PMD Business Manager regarding all information deemed strategic related to products, competitions, sales programs, potential target markets, etc.
- Represent Liphatech at trade shows and association meetings to promote products and generate sales
- Provide input regarding Liphatech pricing policies to business manager.
- Investigate new markets for CO2 products and propose programs to capitalize on opportunities.
- Manages CO2 sales in relation to the monthly budget, utilizing Altus and QlikView. Prepare a quarterly sales performance update and present it to the PMD Business Manager.
- Western IGI Manager will handle technical questions and troubleshooting calls from end users and distributor partners in assigned territory.
- Focus on the Fumigation market eighty percent (80%) of the time with remaining time devoted to other products in the Pest Management portfolio.

Certifications and Licenses:

Education and/ Or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in communications, marketing, business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of sales, pest control, animal health, or agricultural field crop experience combined required.
- Previous experience in fumigation, commodity fumigation and fumigation products preferred.
