Liphatech currently has an exciting opportunity for a swing shift Lead Person with the hours of 7:00 am to 3:30 pm/3:15 pm to 11:45 pm. We offer a safe, collaborative, and continuously improving work environment.

Summary:

Responsible for the storage, formulation, mixing and transfer of raw materials into a usable form. Responsible for transferring components and raw materials to and from process areas in ERP system. Assists the Production Supervisor to maintain safety, quality and efficient production on assigned shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all Liphatech safety policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including the ability to work from 3:15 pm to 11:45 pm with 48 hours’ notice; otherwise, the standard schedule will be 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
  • Ensure that correct ingredients are properly measured per specific formula and that technical and concentrate is weighed and mixed correctly.
  • Ensure production process orders are carried out in accordance with RMF forms, RMW work instructions and/or video board instructions.
  • Gather and deliver packaging and raw materials necessary to produce mixes and finished products.
  • Check mixed materials for compliance to specifications and requirements.
  • Responsible for controlling the storage, manufacture, and transfer of pellets, grains, powders and liquid baits.
  • Compile finished product numbers for each production line and record in the KPI log daily.
  • Ensure that raw materials and batches are transferred to the proper silos.
  • Set up manufacturing lines and assign employees to each workstation daily.
  • Sign off on production setups at the start of each shift or process as needed.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance personnel to troubleshoot production equipment.
  • Collaborate with support personnel in Operations and Quality Control.
  • Adhere to all Quality Control requirements.
  • Safely move product from one location to another.
  • Transfer components and raw materials to and from process areas in ERP system.
  • Assist the Production Supervisor to maintain safety, quality, and efficient production on assigned shift.
  • Assist in training new employees and temporary employees.
  • Assist in production non-conformance root cause analysis and corrective action.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Ability to obtain a Fork Truck Operator’s license.

Other Skills and Ability:

  • Ability to temporarily work any shift when required.
  • Must be proficient in all operator positions level 1-5 within six months of accepting Lead Person position.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend digital scale readings.
