Restricted Use Pesticide

Metarex is registered for use in all states except: North Dakota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming. Only New York State classifies Metarex 4% Snail and Slug Bait (EPA Reg. #7173-257) as a Restricted Use Pesticide (RUP).

Grass Grown for Seed

Apply at a rate of 5–20 pounds per acre (A). The maximum application rate is 20 pounds of product per acre (0.8 lb. ai/A) per application. A maximum of four applications are permitted at a minimum retreatment interval of 21 days. Applications to turfgrass (other than grass grown for seed or in state and/or federal invasive mollusk eradication operations) are prohibited. Apply bait by broadcast alone or by broadcasting blended with fertilizer. Application may also be made at planting using in-furrow (seed drill) application equipment. Learn more.

Citrus

Apply at a rate of 6.5–25 pounds per acre (A). The maximum application rate is 25 pounds of product per acre (1 lb. ai/A) per application. A maximum of six applications are permitted at a minimum retreatment interval of 14 days.
